There is absolutely no cost for sharing your photos with friends and family. When you share photos, we will send an email to notify your friends and family that you wish to share your photos with them. Select Albums to Share
- Click 'share' in the menu on the right side of most pages of the Costco Photo Center website.
You will have two choices for sharing. Click 'share album(s).'
- Select the albums you'd like to share.
- You'll see a green checkmark in your albums list for each album you choose to share and a green checkmark below the album.
When you are ready to proceed, click the 'continue' button.
Hint: If you have a lot of albums, use the 'sort by' dropdown menu to sort your albums and make them easier to browse.
Select Photos to Share
- Click 'share' in the menu on the right side of most pages of the Costco Photo Center website.
You will have two choices for sharing. Click 'share photo(s).'
- Select the photos you'd like to share. Photos you have selected will have a green checkmark underneath the thumbnail.
- You can share photos from any of your albums. Click an album name in the 'Albums' list on the left side of the page. Albums that contain photos you have selected to share will display a green checkmark beside the name.
Then click the 'continue' button.
Choosing recipients
The next step in the sharing process is to enter the email addresses for your friends and family with whom you'd like to share your albums or photos.
Enter addresses
Select addresses from your Costco Photo Center address book.
Type your friends' email addresses in the 'to' field like you would in an email. Be sure to separate each address with a comma or line break.
You can add the addresses of your friends and family from your Costco Photo Center address book by clicking the 'address book' link. Your address book will appear. Select the friends and family with whom you would like to share your photos or albums. When you are finished selecting recipients, click the 'continue' button.
Note: When your friends receive the invitation email, they will only see their own email address. Also, if you share photos with an email that is associated with a friend's account then they will see the photos in their shared albums.
Send the Message to your Friends
When you have selected all of your recipients, click the 'share' button. Your items have now successfully been shared!
Using the Guest Book
Overview
Every album in your Costco Photo Center account has a guest book associated with it. Your friends and family can leave you messages here about the photos in an album and you can reply to them. Follow the steps below to see a guest book.
- Click the album that has the guest book you would like to check.
- Click the 'view guest book' button.
- The guest book for the album will appear with any comments that have been made displayed.
Enter a comment in the 'Add your comments' section, and then clicking the 'add comment' button.
If you no longer want people to be able to leave messages in the guest book, you can close it by clicking the 'close guest book to visitors' link in the top right corner. Closing a guest book to visitors will only apply to the guest book being viewed and not to all the guest books in your account.
The guest book also shows some important details. In the 'Details' area you can see how many photos are in the album and how many visitors have looked at the album.
The albums that friends have shared with you also have guest books. To check a guest book for a friend's album, click the album you would like to check and click the 'sign the guest book' link or the 'view the guest book' link. You will not be able to access the guest book if your friend has closed it to visitors.
When you close your guest book to visitors it does not erase any comments that were previously entered. If you would like to delete comments, click the remove link beneath them.

Sharing Photos
With whom can I share photos and albums?
You can share your photos with as many people as you would like. The only requirements that people will need to view your photos are an internet connection and a valid email address.
Can I share a single photo?
You can share one, two, or twenty photos. Follow the steps above and when you have to select your photos, select the photo you would like to share.
Is it possible to share more than one album?
Absolutely. It is easy to share as many albums as you would like. Follow the steps above for sharing albums and when you have to choose which albums to share, select all the albums you would like to share.
Can I choose specific photos to share or do I have to share an entire album?
When you choose to share an album with friends and family, they can see the whole album. You can decide to only share photos by following the steps above to share photos.
What happens if photos are shared with an email that is associated with my account?
If someone shares photos with an email that is associated with your account, then the photos will show up in your shared albums.

Are there any attachments to the invitation email?
The Costco Photo Center invitation email will not have any attachments.
What do I do if I change my mind about sharing items while I'm still in the process of doing so?
If you change you mind at any point during the process, you can click the 'cancel' button to return to browsing your photos.
How can I tell if the invitation email was sent?
When the invitation email has been sent, you will see a confirmation page that informs you that your share was successful.
After Sharing
What can my friends do with my shared photos or albums?
In order to view your albums or photos, your friends and family will have to sign in to the Costco Photo Center or sign up for an account. The album will be listed in the 'friends' albums' section of their 'photo library'. At any time your friends and family can order prints and enlargements of your photos or add them to photo gifts.If my friends and family order prints or photo gifts using photos I have shared with them, do I have to pay anything?
You will not be charged for any prints or gifts that people order from the photos you have shared. The person who wishes to order prints or gifts will have to do so from within their own account. They will be asked to enter credit card information or they will have to pay at the store if they are picking up the items.
Privacy
Do you do anything with the names and email addresses of the people that I share my photos with?
We will add the email addresses to your Costco Photo Center address book, so that you can easily share photos with them again in the future. Costco Photo Center only uses the email addresses to notify the people you have shared your items with that they can view your items. View our privacy policy.
