All of your Enlargements, photo DVDs, prints, and 5x6 photo cards can be picked up at most Costco Warehouse locations. Prints, photo gifts, and stationery can be purchased by mail. During the checkout process you will be able to choose to pick up items or have them shipped to you.
How to choose to pick up items at a warehouse
When you have selected your photos, added them to your cart and you are ready to order, click the 'continue' button to proceed to the pick up or ship selection page.
Almost all of the items you purchase from the Costco Photo Center can be mailed to you.
If there are items in your cart that are only available by mail, then you will have to enter your mailing information. If you have the option to choose pick up or mail order, then select 'mail my order' at the 'pick up or mail' selection page.
Order tracking: In some cases the carrier can take up to 24 hours to update your tracking information. You might not be able to track your shipment with the carrier within the first 24 hours if the carrier has not yet scanned it. Each time a tracking label is scanned during delivery, the tracking information will be updated.
When you are satisfied with your address and shipping entries, click 'continue'.
Note: It is not possible to break up a single order to mail it to different addresses. All items in an order must go to one address.
Your cart displays all items together. This includes items that can only be mailed and items that you wish to pick up at a warehouse.
Viewing your Photos
From your cart page, you can preview photos, crop them and also add borders. To view any of the photos in your cart, simply click the thumbnail preview once. A popup preview will appear for each aspect ratio that you've selected to print your photo. Please note that aspect ratio and print size are different, so for example photos that will print at 4x6, 8x12, and 12x18 will be grouped into one preview because they share an aspect ratio of 2:3. You can crop your photos from the preview window (see below).
Adding Borders
Borders can add fun or sophistication to your photos.
Select a border type in the 'print options area of your shopping cart page.
Tip: To see which borders are available, click the 'view examples' link.
Select a border style by clicking the button beside the name.
Note: Choosing a border from your cart page selects that border for all of the photos in the cart. It will override any borders chosen for individual photos that you may have already selected.
Cropping
The edges of your photos may be automatically cropped during the printing process depending on the print sizes you select. Follow the steps below in order to check the cropping and manually adjust it to preserve the integrity of your photos:
Note: we will warn you if the crop you would like to make will result in a photo with poor resolution. A triangle (
) next to a print size indicates that the selected crop area is too small to make a high-quality print at the selected size.
When you are ready to begin placing your order, you can choose which items you would like to ship and which you would like to pick up. Some items can only be shipped and some items can only be picked up, but you have the option for all other items.
Changing an order from pick up to ship:
If you usually pick up your order, but would like to have an order mailed to you instead, you can change your order prior to placing it.
To change a pick up order to a different pick up location:
If you have previously selected pick up as your delivery method, the Warehouse location you selected will appear. Click the 'change location' button and select a new location from the dropdown menus. When you're finished, click 'continue'.
To change a mail order to a pick up order:
Costco Photo Center offers professional options for your photos and enlargements. You can choose what you would like to be printed on the back of your photos and enlargements, and also choose whether you would like us to AutoCorrect your photos.
Add back printing
Your order number will automatically be applied to all images. To add additional text to the back of your prints, select from the three options: order number and image name (if your images have names), order number and custom text, and order number, image name and custom text. For custom text options, add the text in the text field provided.
Remove AutoCorrect
AutoCorrect is a feature that most amateur photographers use. If you are a professional photographer and use an editing tool such as Adobe PhotoShop to adjust your images or select printer profiles, you should turn off AutoCorrect to make sure that your prints are not altered.
When you are finished editing your Professional Options, click 'add options'.
Note: Back printing is only available for warehouse pick up orders. Remove AutoCorrect is available for warehouse pick up and mail order.
