Canvas Prints

A Canvas Print is a stylish and professional way to decorate your home, office, or other location. You can create a print with your own photo, or use a selection from our Art & Image Gallery. Creating a canvas is easy -- simply follow these steps:

  1. Click the 'store' tab in the main menu.
  2. Click the 'canvas prints' square or the 'canvas prints' link listed in the photo products column on the left.
  3. Choose whether you would like to create a canvas from your own photo (canvas print) or a gallery canvas from the Art & Image Gallery, and click the appropriate 'create' button.
  4. Choose your desired canvas size:
    • If you are creating a gallery canvas, you will be taken to the Art & Image Gallery. After selecting an image you will then be able to choose your canvas size.
    • If you are creating a canvas print, you will immediately be asked to choose a canvas size.
  5. You will be taken to the canvas edit area.
    • If you are creating a gallery canvas, you will see a small selection of alternate images on the left side of the screen, as well as a link back to the full gallery listing.
    • If you are creating a canvas print, you will see your personal photos on the left side of the screen, as well as a link to access other albums.
    The image or photo you selected will appear on the sample canvas in the middle of the screen.
  6. Use the editing tools in the 'edit panel' to modify your image. You can position your image on your canvas by clicking on the canvas area once and holding the mouse button while moving your mouse to adjust the image. When you have it exactly where you would like, release the mouse button. Canvas prints have advanced editing options -- click here for more information on using the editing tools.
  7. When you are ready, click the 'add to cart' button to proceed.

Recommended Image Resolutions

A canvas is much bigger than a print, so it requires a source image with a much higher resolution. Below are the minimum and optimum image resolutions for each size of canvas. For more information, see the Photo Resolution help topic.

Print & Framing: Canvas


To frame your canvas print:

  1. Select the size of canvas print you wish to purchase, and then click the "Add Frame" button in the summary at the top of the right sidebar.
  2. A pop-up window will appear with a larger preview of your frame and any additional details about it. If you are satisfied with your choice, click the "Add Frame" button.
  3. You will now see a frame around your canvas print in the preview window.

To remove the frame from a canvas print, click on the "Remove Frame" button in the summary at the top of the right sidebar.
